Foundations In Charity
Foundations in Charity is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation created by Bishop Frank Caggiano as a foundation to support the work of catholic charities. The foundation is run by a fiduciary board of trustees made up of lay volunteers.
Since 1916, the Catholic Church in Fairfield County, through Catholic Charities and other Catholic organizations, provided programs that feed the hungry and homebound, shelter the homeless, strengthen families, assist the physically and emotionally challenged, and deliver consultation and assistance to immigrants. As people of faith, we serve all people without regard to age, race, religion, or ability to pay. Catholic Charities is one of the largest private social service providers in Connecticut.
Congratulations to Al Barber on his many years of service to Catholic Charities and Foundations in Charity! Please keep an eye on your email and mailbox for an invitation to celebrate Al and Gina Barber’s dedication to our mission.
We ask that all consider a gift in Al and Gina’s honor to the newly launched Catholic Charities of Fairfield County Fund. This fund will ensure the continued works of charity today and into the future for those most in need. To donate, click below:
