New Covenant Center

New Covenant Center is focused on hunger prevention and social services for a better life. The center's facility in Stamford provides expanded basic need services to guests. By creating a safe, warm, and compassionate environment, New Covenant Center takes the first steps toward empowering guests to reach their full potential.

The New Covenant Center's soup kitchen serves over 300 hot, healthy meals daily, and over 1,200 individuals receive 10 days worth of groceries from the food pantry each month. The center also has shower facilities and offers laundry services, barber services, and hygiene items to clients. New Covenant Center also has a job skills program focused on careers in the food service and hospitality industries that is offered to clients. Staff also provide assistance to address basic individual and family issues standing in the way of self sufficiency, identifying and overcoming barriers and obstacles, and providing connections to other support services like medical and mental health referrals.
