Behavioral Health Services

Catholic Charities' Behavioral Health Counseling services provide counseling, support and education to children, adolescents, adults, seniors, and families in Fairfield County. Services are provided by Licensed Social Workers, Professional Counselors, Marriage and Family Therapists, and a Psychiatric Medical Director. The program is licensed both by the Connecticut Department of Public Health and the Connecticut Department of Children and Families.

The program specializes in trauma-informed care for children and adults. It also provides family therapy, children's therapy, medication management and group counseling. It also provides a program called "Putting Children First," a state-approved educational group for divorcing parents as required by the Connecticut court system.

The behavioral health counseling program accepts most private commercial insurances, as well as Medicare and Medicaid (HUSKY). Office locations are in Danbury and Norwalk.
